Japanese Orchid is a soft and subtle print that balances between the lighter soft blues, and the darker blacks and golds of the print. In exquisitely soft cashmere and silk, it cocoons you through chilly winter days.

The surface design was created by abstracting and playfully lifting patterns from photographs of an orchid leaf taken at close range. By looking closely, and selecting portions of the shapes within the leaves many patterns and abstract whimsical shapes emerge. The abstract shapes within the field of the design come from within nature’s symmetry. This scarf measures 70cmx210cm (27 x 83 inches)
